John Davey

John Davey is a fully qualified educator and an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience both in the UK and internationally. His multidisciplinary expertise spans roles as a keyboard player and guitarist , Sound Engineer, Lighting Engineer, Photographer, Musician, and Visual Artist. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with a number of notable figures, including Noel Redding of Jimi Hendrix fame, Dave Evans, and Ade Edmondson, known for Bottom and The Bad Shepherd’s.

His international work includes involvement with Kylie Feverin Norway, and he has recently completed a production of The War of the Worlds. In addition, he has undertaken film work with Thunderbolt Media in London and has worked extensively with leading UK broadcasters, including BBC, ITV, and Channel 4.

Currently, John is based at JTB Studios, where he serves as an in-house keyboard tutor. Alongside this role, he provides one-to-one private tuition across a wide range of creative and technical disciplines, including Adobe software, Ableton, Logic, and most digital audio workstations (DAWs), as well as live music production, lighting design, animation, projection, photography, filmmaking, and advanced photo manipulation.

John’s work has been recognised with multiple awards for his photography and film projects in 2022 and 2023. Further demonstrating his artistic versatility, one of his original paintings was selected for use as an album cover in 2025.
