JTB Piano lessons Lesson T&C's 

​

  • Lessons are paid monthly in advance via subscription.

 

  • Subscriptions are based upon having one lesson per week. 

 

  • Each monthly subscription takes payment for the equivalent of four lessons per month.

 

  • Price - £60 per month taken on the 1st of each month (a discounted price of £104 if you have an hour lesson per week: equivalent of £13 per 1/2 hour) 

 

  • There will be Five occasions throughout the year when a fifth lesson occurs in one month,  In this circumstance the 5th lesson will still be given but not charged for , this will be assigned as “Holiday allowance” … ** see Holidays below for further details**

 

  • If your Payment is late or not received on the 1st of the month , your lessons will be Suspended until the months payment is received in full. 

 

Holidays 

 

  • Students may use FOUR weeks of the allowance at anytime throughout the year (starting from the month of which your subscription begins).

 

  • The Fifth week of the allowance automatically defaults for use at Christmas when the studios close for the festive period. 

 

Cancellations

 

Regardless of reason :- 

 

  • 24 hours minimum notice is required for any cancellation.

 

  • Any cancellation will automatically be deducted from your holiday allowance, unless a catch up lesson is arranged between the student & Tutor.

 

  • If you require further holidays outside of your allowance you will be required to catch up any lessons missed at a time & date pre arranged with your tutor. 

 

  • The event of illness , students can either use one of their holiday allowance or catch the lesson up at a later date EG-  in an upcoming half term period or upcoming weekend. 

 

  • No refunds will be given for cancellations. 

 

 

Tutor absence

 

  • If your tutor is away, regardless of reason,  a refund will be given for the lesson(s) missed. 

 

  • Refunds will be paid via cash or bank transfer (Always prior to your tutors planned absence).

 

  • In the event of an unexpected absence, e.g. illness, a refund will be paid as soon as possible once they have returned to work.

 

Discontinuation of lessons

 

  • If the Student decides to discontinue their lessons permanently, no pre paid lessons fees will be refunded , and the subscription will be discontinued as of the end of that month. 

 

Eg. Cancellation on 15th May means the subscription ends on the 31st May, No payment will be taken thereafter.
